HMIS Training: Collecting Exit Destinations, June 27

Date: June 27, 2019

Time: 9:00 am

Training for all persons with a basic understanding of RI-HMIS that are responsible for collecting/reporting on persons exit destinations. This is a mix of a training with an open dialogue. When a lot of people are exiting your shelters at once, what do you do? What does HUD suggest you do? How can we bridge the gap between knowing what is required and knowing what you/your team has the capacity to do? Do you know what Positive destinations are and how they differ from Permanent destinations from some projects? What about Negative and Temporary destinations? Are these new terms to you? Great! If not, come learn what we can do, as a community, to better strengthen our Exit Destination data collected in HMIS. Bring your ideas, come to learn – this training is for all involved with the population of persons exiting our system. Come share struggles and successes all while learning some new ideas to implement in your workflow!

This is a training located at the Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless, on the 3rd floor of the building, in the large board room (right in front of the staircase). There is parking on the street and across the street in the parking lot.
